Consider how YOU can make a difference. Many opportunities on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays! Opportunities are available to help in the Nursery or to teach or help with a Preschool or Elementary children's class on Sunday mornings. You can help as an Awana leader or listener on Wednesday evenings (when Awana activities resume in September), or assist with puppets, music, crafts, art, or other support roles in our Children's Ministry.
There are two nursery leadership spots open. Training will be provided. Please volunteer if you are interested!

if you are interested in joining a Mom's Prayer Group for Skyline High School in Ann Arbor. Are You Plugged In? There are many ministry opportunities at Grace Bible Church. Where can you plug in? Maybe you'd like to join the choir, help in children's ministry, be an Awana worker on Wednesday nights, or work in the nursery on Sunday or Tuesday mornings.
Maybe you would like to help with the Teen ministry to middle and high school students or support the College Ministries. Maybe you would like to participate in one of the Adult Bible Fellowships, Women's Bible study or SeniorLife.
Maybe you'd like to stay in touch with and prayerfully support one or more of our missionaries in the U.S. and around the world, or participate in a short-term missions trip.
Maybe you can prepare food for someone who is recovering from an illness, refreshments for our bereavement ministry or other needs, or visit someone who is ill or unable to come to church.
Have you considered where you might "plug in"? Pastoral Search Committee Update
Our pastoral search team is seeking the Lord's will in filling the Senior Pastor position. The committee is meeting regularly and continues to seek the Lord's guidance in this important process. Please lift them up in prayer on a daily basis as they undertake this most important task.
Resumes have begun to come in from postings on seminary websites. Please pray for the committee members for discernment and guidance as they review the first wave of resumes. If you would like to refer someone to the search committee for consideration as a candidate for Senior Pastor, please use the recommendation form available at the Welcome Center and give it to any member of the search committee.
If you would like to send a note of encouragement or comment to the pastoral search team, they'd love to hear from you. They appreciate your input and welcome your thoughts. Thank you for your ongoing prayers!

Great News & Thank You!
The staff at Ten Thousand Villages (a non-profit trade store on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor) is very excited to report that $8,700 was received from the Jewelry Only Garage Sale held at Grace Bible Church on June 13th. Thank you to all who participated by donating your jewelry!
All proceeds are going directly to Bombolulu, an artisan group in Kenya, to purchase wheelchairs for disabled artisans. Just think of smiling Kenyan faces as they receive their wheelchairs! (At the previous sale, over $5,000 was raised and used to purchase 50 wheelchairs.)

Thank you to the 80+ volunteers who helped make our 9th annual On Goal Soccer Camp a huge success! There were 9 host homes, 25+ meal providers, 20+ barbeque helpers, 28 teen helpers and 6 registration assistants.
We had almost 160 children who heard the truth of God’s love and only 44 of these were GBC kids. What an impact this could have in our community! Continue to pray for the ongoing impact of this week in the lives of the children and their families. |
